Chillout and Seating Areas
In order to keep things simple we have devised two easy ways of calculating the amount of lounge furniture required for your event;

1. by the Number of Guests you are anticipating, or
2. the Amount of Space you would like to fill.

Furniture hire by the number of guests


There are two main types of party.... Formal party ,

Weddings, Corporate dinners, Anniversaries or Dinner/Dances are all Formal Parties where guests sit down for dinner together and therefore have a seat accommodating them.

In these cases Chillout furniture should create a reception area for drinks beforehand, provide a comfortable place around the dance floor, create a bar atmosphere for a particular area or to provide seating for guests that are joining after dinner has finished.

An Informal party could be a Birthday celebration, Family gathering or Cocktail party where there is no formal dining area, and the centre of the entertainment is around dancing and milling around to socialise.

Chillout and Dancing Areas

The Chillout area here needs to be larger as it provides the only seating available and ensures guests can relax. It provides people with an area to rest in whilst catching up with friends, somewhere to perch when enjoying finger or bowl food, and creates a relaxing place to rest tired legs between dancing.

Furniture hire by the amount of space to fill


This is most suitable for calculating the amount of furniture required for wedding marquees, where the space available is in the reception tent, or for filling an area by the bar. It is also easy for venue's which have specific dimensions of space that need to be filled, usually used for Corporate Events where inviting furniture relaxes delegates, clients and colleagues, like in this 30ft x 90ft marquee for the Event Company, Frutition:

Sumptuous Chillout package

£20 per person (from 40 to 200 guests)

‘The complete seating and scene setter for your event’
This provides you with sumptuous sofas with bolsters and cushions (floor level/ sofa height), padded stools/floor cushions, coffee tables with lanterns and ornaments, rugs for the floor, chests decorated with ornaments, brass tray tables and side tables with table lamps.

Simple Chill package

£15 per person...(from 40 to 200 guests)

‘Creating a relaxed seating area for your event’
This package supplies you with the hire of sumptuous seating (floor level/ sofa height), padded stools/floor cushions and coffee tables.

For events with smaller requirements than furniture for 40 guests, items are available to hire individually - email us for a price list.

Day-beds

These relaxing cushioned day-beds are great for scene setting and are sure to make your guests feel at home.

Four Poster Day-beds

These elegant four poster day-beds are ideal for summer garden parties and are available in the Cornish Cream interior as well as the darker Eastern Lounge look.

Indian Umbrellas

These are available with or without cocktail stands to turn them into bar tables, perfect for a champagne reception outside on the lawn.

Wooden Screens

These hand carved wooden screens can be used as baffles for caterers, room dividers or to create an entrance to a marquee or venue.

Palm Trees & Olive Trees

Beautiful real palm trees and Olive trees measuring between 5ft and 8ft high enhance the ambience of an event.

Dining Chairs

Two styles available...either wooden chairs with ivory seat pads (available with black covers to match with the darker interiors) or plastic chairs with block printed or black covers.

Dining Tables

Either long or round to seat either 8 or 10 guests.

Parquet Dance Floors

From 12ft x 12ft to 30ft x 30ft

Bars

Portable units in 8ft lengths with matching fabric fronts to the lining fabrics

Stages

Covered, in a range of sizes to accommodate a single harpist, to a 12-piece band in 8ft x 4ft sections.

Heaters

For larger tents or venues, top of the range ducted propane units with user-friendly thermostat controls always supplied with at least 8 hours supply of gas and for smaller ones domestic electric heaters are used to take off the chill.
